Valentine's Day special

It was a pleasure to be approached by the staff of District 10 requesting for some roses to decorate their pub for Valentine's Day.

It was 13 Feb'2014, eve of Valentine's day. My business partner and I decided to prepare some roses and went down to Clarke quay to try our luck. (Testing the market) Since it was a Thursday evening, Clarke quay was't really crowded with Singaporeans. Thus to mean that we didn't manage to sell any roses at all. Just when we decided to make our way to the car, a staff from a pub waved at me to go to her.

Upon reaching, the staff asked us how much will it cost to request for 10 stalks of roses for their tables. After communicating, they decided to take up our offer and placed a deposit with us. We tried to look calm and "steady" but we we were actually shrieking with joy in our heart and excited about tomorrow.

Maybe some will feel that we are over-reacting but to us, this is another milestone we have achieved. Although we didn't get to celebrate the day with our loved ones, it makes our day to see the smiles of the ones receiving the stalks / bouquet of roses. My partner have stayed up in the night preparing the roses for delivering in the morning, then together we continued to make more roses for the evening delivery to District 10 & for sales at 2 other locations.

We are excited about next year Valentine's Day and meanwhile, we are thinking about how we can better improve ourselves for more occasion to come. ;)
